There’s no hero to cheer, no villain to boo in the first tragedy of the 20th century, just mediocre and small-minded politicians unable to step back from the brink.
I thought that was a very good little article, btw…. He’s right, it’s similar to what is happening now. A bunch of small-minded “leaders” are about to sleepwalk us into an end-of-the-world situation.

Thinking of reading the novel by Adm James Stavridis, to see how he imagined the final little conflict to play out, a few years from now.
