This case is ludicris , it will be dismissed ... nyc da's office & their sex crime unit i guess was in such a hurry to arrest & detain him they did no proper investigation and just took this maid at her word . In a city that just had its frenzied little media party with Bernie Madoff and daily bouts of PR bullshit with the "The Donald" this town called NYC is beginning to worry me . They hardly did any homework and had they chose to act like intelligent beings , they could have chosen to conduct a proper investigation and if the facts & her story panned out then they could have obtained a sealed indictment arresting DSK next time he flew in to NY . Simple and smartly avoids all this embarassment & waste of everyone's time ... but these NYC dum dums opted for staging the perp walk & sensationalizing this into the next big media event since the Madoff scandal. This falls at the feet of DA Chielf Cyrus Vance who ends up looking pretty witless in all this . But how do you give a man his reputation back after this ? Sure there were stories about his womanizing and they jumped all over it , but he still had no arrests and did have a reputation after all . This cost him his position at the IMF, his reputation & most likely his candidacy of France has been destroyed as well. And they're just going to say , oh ...were not going prosecute, charges dismissed & nevermind ? There should be serious consequences for this and if the latest reports prove completely true not only all charges dropped against DSK but Vance and his pretty boy prosecuters get to find themselves the ones that get grilled. We'll see ....surely DSK will show them an example of how to behave with class . NYC is losing it , it seems ...maybe one too many bonfires of the vanities , filled too much with its own sensationalistic self & self importance ...too many big problems and too many Madoff's... sorry , its time to wake up.
