JF Q, Maurice cannot prove determinism and you can't prove free will. We simply don't have a clear answer. We need to consider that we all have two brains that are normally connected by a data bundle. When this bundle is severed, two pesonalities begin to diverge. These two brains working independently, yet interacting with each other might synthesize a randomness lookalike. Who cares. It feels like free will to me. The main program however is to keep our DNA immortal.
