I doubt the democrat leadership can think that far out or consider the geo political implications. Regardless, Xi is a big winner no matter the outcome of war with Russia that is now underway and will only escalate. China won't move on Siberia until Russia is over thrown due to nuclear threat. "Mother Russia" is everything to Russians and they will fight until they have no remaining nuclear warheads.
