i don't know, but i imagine john hull would know. intel has a strong vested interest in processor-taxing apps for the home market: that's of course why they're so into the desktop video stuff. for the past 5 years, everyone has been saying that the home market doesn't need faster cpu's than it already has, but perhaps multimedia (especially internet multimedia) is here to prove them wrong.
