MAY 15, 1998, M2 Communications - Lucent Technologies today announced a third-party distribution agreement with one of the UK's leading Computer Telephony Integration (M) software developers, Exepos.
The agreement adds three new solutions to Lucent's CTI portfolio:
Easy Dialler - A CTI product delivering direct connection between the telephone and the PC. Screen pops (sub screens of information relevant to the last key pressed) show inbound call details, while outbound calls can be made from one of four on-screen phone books with the click of a mouse. Easy Dialler telephony enables and integrates with Windows, applications.
Telephony Toolbox - Telephony enables existing database applications, creating a simple TAPI (Telephony Applications Program Interface) or TSAPI (Telephony Services Applications Program Interface) compliant dialler within minutes. These open architecture CTI interfaces enable software developers to produce applications which integrate two or more devices, such as a computer and PBX.
Easy Speak - a leading call centre CTI solution supporting power dialling, automatic call answering, call scripting and integration.

Exepos is based in High Wycombe and employs a creative team of software engineers. As well as developing CTI solutions, the company produces high-value financial software for a number of clients including Asda, Woolworths and BHS.
