Sun,

The apostrophe is part of the error message and I don't think it uses it as part of the URL. I clicked on the link in your last post and still get the same error:

Cannot open 'http://www.wallstreetreporter.com/interviews/aug/6/gumm.ram'. Please verify that the path and filename are correct and try again.

Suggestion: Check the web site or content source for information about playing this content.

When I click on the link wallstreetreporter.com, Windows Media Player version 6.01.05.0217 automatically starts. The status bar displays "Opening" and then "Locating Server". That's when I get the error. It's possible that I need Real Player to hear the interview, but the error message suggests a connection problem to the URL. I haven't had this problem with Windows Media Player before.

Thanks for your help.

Dan
