The corporations own all the media, own the professional opinion-forming scientists and technicians, and Americans have shown themselves to be an easily-led, uninformed bunch in general. I don't see any way to correct the abomination that our government has become, short of a nuclear war that sets us all back to start over. We're a corporatocracy. en.wikipedia.org I just got Obamacare insurance, which with a pre-existing condition, I've been unable to do for the last decade. So, MY vote wasn't wasted. I thank Obama for that! He did accomplish that ONE thing - although it's not the system I would have chosen. He did get Osama - so, he get's credit for two good things! I never really believed all Obama's promises. I mean, they ALL promise, and they ALL fail to deliver. If they deliver on anything they promised, it's a clear win.
