The Santa Barbara spill stopped lots of offshore drilling for years and did raise people's consciousness. So it was a teachable moment. Arnold just stopped more offshore permits off Calif once he saw what happened in the gulf. So it has already been a teachable moment. MMS will be scoured and totally overhauled now that they have come to light. Watch how much posttive change comes out of this oil spill. When did you start posting such nonsense?
