There could be a bidding war in the race to find new technologies and new markets to exploit. I keep being reminded of the INTC thrust into networking to find higher margin business to keep the sales machine going, and carve out a new line of business. These mid-size companies will be commanding high stock prices as they get gobbled up by the titans in their bid for comprehensive products/services. All of them want to become the one-stop shops to the corporate enterprises. INTC will continue to move aggressively into this area, and maybe will DELL, CPQ, MSFT. CSCO's already there.
