And who would have had any doubts that the whole mobile bio weapons lab notion was a fraud when they knew that the person that put forth the notion was none other than Curveball?

The Germans told the US that Curveball was unreliable. No wonder they were not moved to war by Powell's speech. Since Powell's testimony, even Powell has said he was mislead. He was told this was fully vetted intelligence.

Yes the pattern is clear. Evidence that supported an invasion was held high. Anything that crossed that notion was suppressed. People that held that notion had the attack dogs unleashed on them, like Wilson.

Even liars can "tell the truth" if they hide all the facts.

Even liars can "tell the truth" if they rely on unreliable sources.

We know that Bush will tell lies. He told the American people that wire taps require a warrant. In reality he had established a secret wiretapping program. If he felt that illegal wiretapping was needed to protect America, why lie to the people about it? He didn't need to say that. But he did. Why?

He is established as a liar, which puts his credibility on uses of sources and intelligence leading up to the war in serious doubt.

We can see that the aims of the US are clear by the actions in Iraq. The establishment of multiple permanent military bases, and the construction of the largest US Embassy in the world.
