Not good, Jan. The update ran fine here on one computer, and the Metastock directories were automatically updated. But the program stalled at Phase 21 on another computer, as it did last night. I was able to manually update the Metastock directories, though. I'm sorry to hear you can't manually update the directories. Did the quotes update in the QP2 charts? Did you try running QP Proc.exe? I've never run into that problem -- not being able to manually update MS directories. You've ventured into undiscovered country with that one. Hole up in a lean-to, ration your provisions, and I'm sure Gary or someone at QP support will send a team of sled dogs soon. Try not to think about Gonzongo, safe and secure by the fire, swilling beer and munching on pretzels, running his killer scans for the morning. Did you save a copy of the older program and the disk buffer? You might fall back on them if you need the quotes. Brooke
