Brooke, thanks, as it turns out, my problem was due to user error. I did not fully understand the need to set up individual profiles for my "portfolio" and "watchlist" directories. I've done that now, and therefore, I shouldn't have any more problems. (sorry Gary, the beta actually works great). Jan
