Anything that increases in value is a hedge against inflation, even if there isn't much inflation.

Taco Bell tried putting an energy surcharge on each order and had to roll it back. It's very hard to pass thru costs. As long as that is the rule, inflation will be tame.

Housing is a different matter. There's a shortage because of all the new household formations by boomers' kids. You kids have to get out there, hustle, sweat and pay my social security!
