Listen close you sanctimonious bastard. I held the hand of someone very close to me that committed suicide when in a drug induced depression.

You preach highly from the pulpit of your drug culture religion. Making drugs easier for kids to get their hands on will in no way make the mistakes you made more bearable.

I don't have a drug culture religion. I believe that what we are doing doesn't work. I have known a lot of people who died from drug use. The criminalization seems to me to be the problem. One of the things i am hoping ro combat drug use is the peculiar inefficiencies of the government.

BTW my parents were married long before i was born, and quite frankly, if i thought what we are doing now was working, I would be on your side. It isn't working Once we realise that it is only getting worse, we can take some steps to reduce the impact. When $5.00 of heroin is $100.00 on the street, the addicts spend all their time coming up with the money for a few dollars of drugs. For some reason the number of treatment beds available is never even 10% of enough, and so people die. This country is so rich, and we have money for everyone else but we can't treat our own kids

Calling me names doesn't solve the situation, admitting we are losing this war, and finding a way to help out all those kids is a better thing to do.
