Tonto...I never said that they should or would. I think will not. I think some folks think that they will. That if we leave everything up to corporations they will have our best interests at heart. This is the rational behind the republicans saying that we should not tax the corporations...even when they are making record profits at our expense...be cause they will use the money more wisely than we will for $400 million dollar CEO retirement programs and the like. BS If we want energy independence, we the people will have to make it happen. Otherwise we keep on the same old Bush-Cheney Exxon-mobil route. Orca
