Justa, Re:? I have heard enough over the past few weeks to suggest that the Japanese have not shown any signs of capex life I believe their new FY begins in April so if there is any strength, this is when it will show. FWIW, Toshiba is mentioned in an article today as outsourcing much of their IC output. I presume this would shift to Taiwan, thereby not providing a true comparison(in this instance) of '99 capex versus historical spending. Brian
