That’s a different topic, and one I agree with.

It doesn’t mean that I’m rooting for them to becomes defacto slaves to Putin and his minions who had no right to invade.

It doesn’t mean I should root for total surrender in order to prevent what I perceive as my biggest fear, that being the use of nuclear weapons.

It also doesn’t mean I cannot understand why a nation would want to fight and die for their country, when a brutal dictator invades without warning.

Edit: I will add, it also doesn’t mean I cannot see the cause and effect that ignoring the invasion (like Crimea and Georgia) will embolden evil people such as Putin to continue killing and invading other countries.

They must pay a heavy price, to do otherwise is to invite more bloodshed.
