I said early on that I thought he could put up a "men only" sign because there has been an established tradition of separating the sexes in spa/cosmetic type environments. I don't think anyone would make an issue of it. He couldn't put up a "straights only" sign, though, IMO without causing harm. The simple presence of such a sign is a slap in the face to a class of people who get nothing but grief from society. It would be terribly tacky and rude and hurtful, IMO.
