We are 65th in the world in income inequality. Half the country lives near the poverty level.

Since Reagan started bashing unions the middle class has fallen in a near perfect inverse correlation tih the decline in unions. Workers must have representation.

All the while business has record profits, avoided billions in taxes by stashing income over seas and having lowest real taxes in almost 100 years. Business will never pay more taxes than they have to and they work to keep them low.

A society has both the right and the responsibility in making sure its citizens can live a healthy life.

Anyone who knows anything about politics knows the plutocrats control the congress by spending billions on campaign donations and lobbyists. Compare that to the poor.

How is that?
