myron,

sorry, i was saying 'my netcenter' (and abbreviating it too as 'my nc') when i meant 'my netscape'. i knew what you were talking about, though. so yes, we are on the same page. <g3>

the 'preferences' i refer to is located to the right of your username. there are four hyperlinks there... add channels, preferences, help and sign out. you can go into preferences and make adjustments.

to change a password, go to member services. to get there, go to preferences (see above), then scroll down to preferences (i know, sounds redundant). there you'll see a blue hyperlink called 'member services'. then follow onscreen instructions.

myron, why don't you try this. go to this page

my.netscape.com

that should take you to the 'my netscape' page. look around for a hyperlink that says, 'make this your home page'. it should be on the left under 'welcome, username' and FAQ. click on it. then close your browser and reopen it. it should open to the 'my netscape' page. if not, try clicking on the 'my netscape' icon in the toolbar at the top of the window.

do this before you mess around with preferences or passwords, okay?

let me know what happens.

:)
