I certainly agree there will be ceilings over-hanging any upward bias and I am sure there will be many days of selling into any strength but I am a bit more optimistic on the downside levels. I haven't followed CSCO well enough to comment on the comparison but their breadth of product revenues and annuity streams don't provide for the financial diversification that IBM has and their sector exposures seem greater to me. As far as PE comparisons I can't comment but needless to say both have their challenges cut out for them. The CC will be very important. Could they warn on 2Q and 2H? Absolutely, I think that was discussed in some earlier posts.
