I find it amazing that Kennedy with all his dealings and shenanigans that required his total concentration, an upbeat assessment on the economy and a feeling of invincibility (like a Goldman Sachs IB today) was paying that much attention to the stock market to 'time' it just right. If it was true it was all pure luck IMHO..
