Jesse and Thread, The Big Picture With all the numbers being bandied about I still have not seen anybody comment on some technological advances that Eli mentioned in the c.c. Recall that the SanDisk multilevel technology, D2, has been improved and incorporated into consumer applications. Previously the write-speeds were a limiting factor. The INVOX acquisition will allow future generations of multilevel technology. INVOX has intellectual property on storage of upto 8 bits per cell. It appears these multilevel patents combined with the Toshiba wafer processing technques and NAND contributions (and SanDisk's controller technology) will be leading edge and set a standard for the remainder of their flash competitors to emulate.
