I have re-created Helene's daily NYSE Total Volume chart which
shows volume " falling off a cliff " in January 2023, ahead of next
week's FOMC announcement and ahead of February 2 earnings releases
for selected Mega Cap's

Helene used the 20-day SMA to show the steady decline of NYSE Total Volume

I have added other NYSE metrics including:
1. the Cumulative version of the daily $NYMO for
readily identifying potential $NYMO tops & bottoms, as well as current trend

2. the daily $NYMO

Important FYI - it is well known that StockCharts.com staff occasionally pulls the NYSE
Total Volume stat from the incorrect row of End of Day stats provided daily at the Wall Street Journal

** StockCharts.com has faulty data for this metric, and I personally know others
who have complained about this over the years to SC, to no avail
