Java centric thin client processed on the client always was 90% hype. While useful on the www for small applets, Java is an interpreted language and is inherently clunky and slow. Writing a program like Word in Java is like someone investing millions in developing wooden wheels for cars, so in most cases it doesn't matter where the processing is done, Windows based programs are more efficient and have the economies of scale. Java could have some uses in specialized smaller programs, but you can use CTXS to access them also. Message 10326966 All IMHO of course
