Your correct, but what was Nixon covering up and what is Clinton? They are worlds apart. Another thing; what justice got obstructed? A trumped up political smear lawsuit that was frivolous and would never have made it to court if it weren't the President? Who's justice is getting obstructed? Lying under oath is wrong generally, but in all law; you have to look at the context. There is a fellow; a Born Again who just turned himself in voluntarily for a rape and murder he did 19 years ago. It was unsolved and remained that way with no leads. The crime was horrible. The family of the murder victim is still bitter and it destroyed their family. They are going to go easy on this guy relatively because he turned himself in after getting away with it for 19 years. Is that justice? Maybe; maybe not. The reason he is getting off easier than he should is that the law factors in context to the decision. If Clinton lied over anything other than a trumped up political lawsuit that was DESIGNED for one purpose; his humiliation; that would be a different story. This is what you folks just don't get; this wasn't about justice and so how can you have obstruction of non-justice?
