V1,

What's the big news? No one in their right mind would expect the Internet frenzy we've been seeing to last. There's a shift in the technology base going on and that always produces turbulence. But eventually, the Internet, the TV networks and the telephone systems of the World will merge and once again look like utilities. Sure, there'll be a few quantum jumps in capabilities, but in 2040, getting 100 Mbps to your house will be a no-brainer. Your telephone will probably need about that much!

The Internet enables a lot of different things. I'm looking for companies that will benefit the most from the technology without having to be directly involved in it. It's a fun game.

Thanks, Torben
