Goodnightnurse! We do love chattin' 'round here, eh?(grin) I turn off my machine ystdy afternoon to go have some fun after moppin' up in the options expiry US ystdy, (gawd, I luv writing nekked calls!) and find all these notes t'day. Wayne, forgot your Q, I've read s'much this AM...if ya'wanna, ask again, ok?
Ingot, y'a wanna know about mah minin' eh? Das secretinze, but I'm a doin' more this afternoon, just as soon as I get offen here...Spring arrived Thursday, and the sun arrived as well...we've got ourselves our first string of warm sunny days since last August!!! And be-LIEEVE you me, I'm gonna go mine here in about 2 shakes of a mule'stail<ggg>!
Jist wanted to add some horse sense from a Bloomberg report ystdy that I found last night spilled outta mah toiletpaper machine...errropps, I meant FAX machine, to help calm whatever jitters I didn't calm on this thread ystdy:
AND I QUOTE: "The companies, owned by SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. of Montreal, stand by their estimate that Busang has 70 million oz of gold, said Wilf Pickles, Kilborn Engineering vice-pres. and general manager.
'It's a ver viable ore body,' said Pickles. Kilborn has built 60% of the world's new gold mines in the last 20 years, he said.
Freeport has been conducting a review of Busang for three weeks, not enough time for a definitive estimate of how much gold is there, analysts said. One way to find out how much gold is in a deposit is to drill parallel holes about 3' away from the exploration holes, they said.
David Neuhaus, mining analys at Toronto Dominion Sec. Inc., said Freeport "already got the drill rigs on site, although they'd just be getting to (the drilling) now."
SOOOOOooooo, Here's prediction #1: The FCX internal document "miscommunication" probably went something like this on a Friday 3/22/96 Work In Progress Report filed and sent via FAX to Jakarta a/w/a back to Home Office in New Orleans: "What horseshit!!! We've been trying to build a stable drill pad in the damnedest swamp I've ever seen! I knew this was a swamp, but DAMN this is the slippriest goop I've ever had to work with in all my years of building drill pads . Makes Irian Jaya look like a cement schoolyard! Will take longer than 4 wks to get this job done!! Better negotiate for a due dilly extension. I can't possibly get this drilled and to the lab and back in 7 days. No way, man. Oh, and by the way, you better check both the reserve estimates and the costs per oz. I don't think we can get it out for no damn $75 per oz, but then what do I know? I'm just the driller!--//s// Chet.
How'bout dem carrots (#9 no do apples-hates me flossin' his teeth) for a weekly Progress Report. Some secy probably told her hubby who told his golf buddy who told Hasan.
Suharto? He probably said..."TWIN DRILLING...What a bloody fine idea? Why didn't I think of that? S'pose it would work on putting greens? Gives me twice the chance to birdie all these bloody putts!!!"
Prediction # 2 OUR CoW's WON'T be signed and distributed next week! How can they be? Nothing else in Indo gets done on time! And its holy days on this side of the pond. We didn't do business during Suharto's Ramadan if you recall. Doubt we do business during Passover/Easter holidays here either!
Besides, CoW#6 is for the granting of a permit to mine, and FCX hasn't finished their due dilly, so Suharto/Sudjana won't issue theirs until FCX has it sewed up!
Prediction #3 The resultant delay, coupled w/margin calls from Friday not received by every margined lil' guy out there in canuck land plus EOM settlement by Thursday as someone else has pointed out, will take'er down s'more next week.
Now, I hear mah nuggets a callin', so I'm outta here!
