I, for one, am very thankful for Canada's support of the US and of democracy in general. I remember when the Canadians working in the Canadian Embassy in Tehran smuggled out people who initially had been part of the Iranian hostage crisis -- I don't remember all the particulars any more, but it was about 10-15 Americans as I recall. That was daring and bold. Just yesterday, thousands of US bound passengers were allowed to land all over Canada. Thanks a ton, Canada, we need more friends like you.
