S3 has such terrible management...

I posted a few weeks back right after their earnings announcement and made my feelings clear regarding S3's management. To sum it all up, it just plain sucks. And as usual, I listened to my broker and sold all 2000 shares I owned at 10 (for a loss). Thank god I listened to my broker.

It seems like S3 will continue to fall, perhaps to 6 like my broker predicted, but at this point, S3 just seems like a terrible investment. First, the poor earnings, then this scandal and lawsuit. Some people overlook the fact that last quarter's earnings were actually WORSE than they stated because they made an accounting error. The news was actually an accounting error + worse than announced earnings report all wrapped into one.

I think that S3 is pretty cheap right now and it looks like a bargain IF they started to show some signs of improved management and some new exciting products. However, it doesn't look like it will happen anytime soon. Actually, S3's price is low enough to draw my interest and I'm looking for an entry point. My broker recommends buying some at 6, but I'll probably wait for this lawsuit to get settled before I dive in. I'd rather catch a stock bottoming and heading upwards rather than catching a stock going down and down and down further.
S3 has been an extremely frustrating stock to own and I know many of you (including myself) who have lost a lot of money in this company. I share in your frustrations. But the most important lesson that I've learned as an investor was to cut my losses rather than to hold on to glimmers of hope that the stock would recover.

Good luck everyone!
May S3 hire some more competent accountants!

-Kenneth
