If the cost to produce food outpaces the consumers means to obtain, then yes....it's coming.

Maybe the rate of change, a velocity measurement, will ease so they can declare victory over inflation, but that will not help those who cannot feed themselves.

Edit: I tend to think it won't be as bad here with our resources.......but what if they won't turn the spigot back on......in time?
