Max,
I've heard so many sad stories and the latest was just last week. A work associate told me how she never lost money until her advisor retired. The new young guy wouldn't listen to her pleas to keep her money in safe securities because she was nearing retirement. Every statement was lower and she would again tell him to move her money to a safer place.
This new advisor thought she was very ignorant about the market and wouldn’t listen.
Finally she had to pull what was left (more then half lost in less then a year) to another institution. Her big complaint to me was, if it's all right for them to charge her $2500.00 for removal-transfer of the funds.

I told her to get a hold of her attorney.

Fletch
