My understanding is that Nokia, despite claiming that it is seeking to monitize its IPR portfolio by licensing, it has not done so in any significant manner. I believe it takes the tack that as a producer of goods, it remains committed to acquiring IPR to negate the IPR of others and to keep its IPR proprietary. Maybe someone who has poured over Nokia's financial statements can elucidate us on the amount of revenue from IPR licensing.
