x86 is part of Merced. So logically, I didn't consdier the porting implications of that since their aren't any. PA-Risc is still an open question as to the compatibilty. You can be sure though that all of them will be easier to port to than SPARC.

Charles, you are what is commonly known as a perma bull. You will be bullish on Sunw at 47, 55, 65, 20, 15. It won't matter. The first drop will be a "buying opportunity." The second will be even better.
See the apple thread. They would rather be permanently bullish on Apple than make money. They would rather hate BillG than make money. No differnce here.
