Benjamin, I understand your skepticism, but it looks like YHOO will provide optimism for the start of the day, at least. Better to be short on the argument and long in the pocketbook, though!

Names to watch include Lycos (LCOS), AskJeeves (ASKJ), Go2Net (GNET), CNET Networks (CNET), Goto.com (GOTO), About.com (BOUT) and Looksmart (LOOK). Several of these names trading at or near 52-week lows.
