The market has been very perverse, with stocks moving in
a different manner than a reasoning man expects. Stocks can report higher earnings and then go down. The year end rally
not only did not occur, but one would expect at least that stocks would hold their own, not head for the cellar.!
Settling the Election should clear the air, but nooooo, its even hard to tell who won.
A great Christmas season should help, but no, perhaps
computer sales are even reasonable, but all we read about is channel stuffing and down go the chips and PC's.
Its enough to make a person abandon the equities entirely, which is EXACTLY what Mr Greenspan felt he had to accomplish to deflate the supposed or actual bubble.
The tech horse is down with a broken leg- Mr G can shoot the critter on Tuesday and henceforth walk or he can add some splints and hope for improvement.
