Ed Luttwak keeps pushing his plebiscite idea. But, why does it depend on Russian Gov acceptance? Ukr Gov repeats over and over that not an inch of their “integrity” is negotiable. Besides - what makes him think that a break in hostilities wouldn’t be simply a chance for UAF to get some R&R, plus extra training on new weapons?

Same thing with all the Israeli wars — the moment they start winning, they’re forced to stop - and the wars never truly end.
