SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MDI, Inc. This MDI client is one of the largest and most modern military locations in the United States and is recognized as a top ranked military maneuver installation. Over 20,000 soldiers and civilian workers oversee operations there on a daily basis.

Only MDI technology is able to meet the custom-developed requirements necessary to comply with stringent base security intrusion detection guidelines. Specific details of the project, its scope, components and location information cannot be announced.

"As stated in our March 29th company announcement, this is one of two key military base projects that we were expecting to finalize this month," stated J. Collier Sparks, President and Chief Executive Officer for MDI, Inc. "We are currently in the final negotiation stages of the three remaining projects profiled in our March announcement and have added two additional large projects in the Washington, DC area to the list. We are anticipating that these projects will combine MDI products and GSS professional services to deliver a "concept to completion" solutions model that is un-matched in the industry," he concluded.
