Without free expression and some controversy, creativity dies in an echo chamber.

We see it here at the Leftist thread, where a fascist moderator squelches anyone not parroting the party line. Most boring place at SI.

This happens on the left on a local, state, and national basis.

The Left=Ruin. Proof: California, Chicago, San Francisco, Detroit, etc. but even the Left is having second thoughts.

Not even a hardcore leftist can justify Joe10%.
