Virgil, as far as shorting the market...i havent...but from June to August, i have been moving my long funds into a fixed market fund. I use the pitbull index...i believe we got a sell signal in late July. i am still bearish currently. havent shorted b/c i dont have experience shorting stocks...how often have your broker forced you to cover your shorts (assuming you still have enough equity in your account?). i hear that brokers wont force you to cover unless your position causes your equity to lose half its value but legally can force you to cover at any time. is this true?
