Driver who hit 2 state troopers' cars was high on pot
KUSA - State troopers say the man who drove his car into two patrol cars this weekend was under the influence of marijuana.

The crash happened around 9 p.m. Saturday on the ramp to Interstate 76 from northbound Interstate 25.

Two state troopers had their vehicles blocking the left lane of the exit ramp. Their emergency lights were on because they were investigating a crash in the area.

The troopers were not inside their vehicles when the suspect hit them. No one was injured.

Troopers say they arrested Keith Kilbey, 23.

He is charged with driving under the influence of drugs.

But you can ask any pothead and they'll tell you they drive high all the time and they're better drivers when high, blah blah blah.

You can count on a campaign to change that.

A former Horizon Air pilot, fired for puffing pot regularly wants his job back. Brian Milam failed a drug test and was subsequently terminated in 2011. However, news reports out on Monday said the pot-puffing pilot was ordered to be rehired, citing wrongful dismissal and medical marijuana use. The airline filed a federal lawsuit Monday to block his return. Citing an April 24 Christian Science Monitor report, Milam failed the random drug screen and was placed in a required treatment protocol. Nevertheless, Horizon later fired the pilot over his regular marijuana use, stating he was impaired.

However, an arbitrator later found that the airline failed to review Milam's record. Had it done so, it would have learned the pilot smokes weed only when he is off and never before or after a scheduled flight

What's more, records suggest the airline pilot smokes marijuana for medicinal purposes; Milam suffers from chronic back pain.

All they'll need is a doctor slip from a quack in the business of prescribing marijuana for everything and voila, it will become a "right."
