DIN is like McDonalds, they franchise their locations, so they own just a handful of "company" locations. The benefit here is they just rake their franchise fee and sales percent off sales. Obviously though the better the locations do they better they do and if the consumer is constrained that means less going out to eat or cutting back somewhere.
