Well said Mish, but I also believe that the biggest and most dangerous action was the gutting of Bear Stearns for the good of J.P. Morgan. Quite an unusual action. I can see how an Investment Bank was the first true casualty of this calamity, but I always thought it wouldve been the creator of the mess, Countrywide...BWDIK
