Northstar Electronics Announces Senior Appointment
VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 9, 2001-- Northstar Electronics Inc. (OTCBB:NEIK - news) President and CEO Dr. Wilson Russell announced that Rear Admiral (Ret'd) Ken Summers has joined Northstar and has been appointed Executive Vice-President, Northstar Electronics, and President of Northstar Network, a wholly owned subsidiary.
Admiral Summers recently retired from the Canadian Navy after over 37 years of service completing a naval career that was marked by a series of significant senior appointments.
In addition to numerous command appointments at sea, Admiral Summers served several times at naval and national defense headquarters with increasing responsibilities in areas of major capital acquisition programs, force development and personnel.
Of particular note, Admiral Summers commanded the Canadian Forces throughout the Gulf War and more recently was the Chief of Staff to the Supreme Allied Commander Atlantic, NATO, Norfolk, Va.
