A recent interview with Scott Ritter and Ray McGovern. Strong, insightful stuff. Ritter (starts at 5.35) is ratter emotional and animated. Finds that from Russias point of view, a seizefire would likely mean a defeat, a failure to complete the demilitarization, denazification, etc. So, for them, the smart thing would be to continue. OTOH, from the US point of view, the smart thing would be to stop sending weapons to Ukraine - and to create a situation that would lead to negotiations. That would derail the Russian’s momentum. A lot more stuff in there.
