Somehow Republican South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has managed to enrage both sides of the “transgendered” athlete issue.
That’s the very first sentence in the article. Sounds like no one was happy with her explanations.

I listened to her trying to defend her decision on TV. I kind of grasped it - but it was long winded and unconvincing. I figured, if I see it this way, so will tens of millions of others.

What would have happened in the long run we don’t know. Maybe there would be fights. But in the meantime, she handed the kooks the decision they desired. Without any fight.
