mark--Thanks for all your work on my problem.

<To fix it, open the bookmarks file (press CTRL-B) and delete all
references it may have created. Next, exit Communicator and open Windows
Explorer, then go to your ...\Netscape\Users\{username}\ directory.
Rename prefs.js to prefs.bad, then restart Netscape. ** Note that this
renaming will require you to reset most of your preferences in
Communicator, but should get rid of most if not all of the changes made.
If the browser is still not back to normal after this procedure, such as
if the My Netscape button still points to the r.babenet.com URL,
reinstall Communicator.>

It appears that I will need to reinstall Communicator as the above solution did not erase the r.babe......com URL from "My Netscape" button. Question: If I delete Communicator will I be able to redownload from the internet? I went to Settings to uninstall and it was not there. Aol Messenger 5.0 was. This is probably very stupid, but do any of these latter comments have anything to do with anything? <ggg> Myron

P.S.--I just noticed on going back to Explorer that when I renamed prefs.js to prefs.bad that now both are existing in username directory. Hmmmmmmm
