Like Beachbum said (I think), the thing is SUNW is already here. INTC and MSFT and etc have just started. 'Initiatives vs. Existing product major difference. NT WILL be, but not yet. NT 5 is still in the cooking pan and no one knows for sure including billy when it'll be ready for prime time, by a time which SUNW has already been there and done that.

Aside, with all those nt machines being deployed, i'm predicting (im humbleness) a slew of cases similar to one linked in a post few days ago on this thread.
Who denies that nt is perfect and ok for departmental level servers and print sharing etc, while major critical biz runs on UNIX including sunw machines?
