Well, I dunno. While I don't think Lott intended anything improper about Thurmond, or MEANT to be improper, he did implicitly condone Thurmond's position about segregation when he ran fro the Presidency. Reid's comments, I thought, were no more telling than to say he has brown eyes and wears black shoes. Mere statements of fact.

But, what the heck, if this will lead to sinking Reid, then I'm all for it!
